Being too busy

Hey all,

September is always a busy time for me. All of the groups I work with on UW campus are starting up. Everyone needs my full attention. Church is starting up. The kids are back in school and Mary Alice is starting teaching up. Sometimes I want to go and hide until Oct 1.

But this year, I have decided to enjoy it. I enjoy meeting tons of new students and struggling to find times to meet with everyone. I enjoy planning events for the semester and working with such wonderful student leaders. I enjoy the challenges of ministry on a major university. And working with collegues from other organization.

It is really a pleasure and priviledge. The time goes so fast.

Medical Group Kickoff meeting last night - Thursday.

Last night, we kicked off our ministry year with the Medical group - Christian Medical Association. We have over 15 first year students out. We shared about the coming year. We have a retreat planned on Sept 29, Oct 1 and we do a road trip to Louisville, KY for the Medical Missions Conference in mid November. This year we are working on a short term missions trip in May, 2006. We are looking at Ecuador and Romania. Tweleve students signed up as interested. Praise the Lord.

Jon and Dr. Woodson. Dr. Woodson has been involved in Christian students lives at the University of Wisconsin for many years.
